    一首歌好不好聽，編曲和演唱者是否能真正挖掘出這首歌的潛力，佔很重要的因素。桃麗芭頓（Dolly Parton）的鄉村冠軍曲" I will always love you "經惠妮休斯頓的翻唱，搖身一變成為名聞全球的抒情經典。

　葛倫麥德羅斯的" Nothing's gonna change my love for you "也是相同的情形，原唱兼作曲者的喬治班森（George Benson）是位黑人爵士樂手，若非經由葛倫麥德羅斯的翻唱，這首歌不會受到廣大樂迷的迴響。喬治班森還有一首著名的作品" Greatest love of all "，被惠妮休斯頓慧眼看上，而介紹給全世界的歌迷，否則這首好歌將只能躲在喬治班森的專輯中，乏人問津。
